In celebration of St. Patrick’s Day, Ringling House Bed and Breakfast in Baraboo will host an Irish “Lore & Pour” round the parlor fireplace on Saturday March 18. Storysmith Cecilia Farran, founder of 43/90 North Earth in Spring Green, will regale the firelight gathering with stories told in the old Irish custom and guests will be treated to a tasting of traditional Irish beers.
Warmed by the fire, and a beer sampling, guests can settle in to the firelight of the elegant surroundings of this landmark home and let Cecilia’s expressive voice take them on a journey to Ireland; a land of mystery, legend and everlasting beauty. And of course there will be an ample bit of Irish humor thrown in.
To complement the festivities, an Irish beer tasting and appetizer pairing will be provided by the Barn Restaurant.
The Ringling House Bed & Breakfast was built in 1901 by Charles
Ringling, one of the founders of the Ringling Brothers Circus. It is opening it’s doors for this one of a kind celebration!

Coming from an Irish family of story tellers, Cecilia finds inspiration and solitude at Taralir, her woodland home near Spring Green. It has been said that she is “one heck of a storyteller.”
